Position Summary

MS Companies is seeking a motivated and dependable Contingent Employee to support operations within the fast-paced automotive manufacturing industry.

Production Support duties include driving new automobiles through the repair and shipping processes, applying protective shipping wrap to new automobiles, and applying grounding strips to bumpers before being painted. A valid driver's license, with the ability to drive a manual transmission automobile is required. Other duties to support the repair and shipping process of new automobiles may be added at any time.

Responsibilities

Driving new automobiles through the repair and shipping processes

Applying protective shipping wrap to new automobiles

Applying grounding strips to bumpers before being painted

Support manufacturing, warehouse, and production operations within customer facilities

Assist with moving materials, products, and inventory throughout the worksite

Assemble, sort, inspect, and/or package parts using hand tools, fixtures, or equipment as needed

Read and follow work instructions, customer orders, and production specifications

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Maintain consistent attendance and arrive on time as scheduled

Adhere to all company policies, client requirements, and safety regulations

Maintain productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Requirements

Valid Driver's License

Ability to drive a manual transmission

Must be able to visually identify defects in color, shape, size, or texture of parts

Must be able to hear and differentiate sounds in a manufacturing environment

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the workday for extended periods on concrete floors (up to 12 hours)

Must be able to move within buildings and operational areas, including ascending and descending stairs

Must be able to reach, turn, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, and maintain balance to prevent falls

Must be able to reach overhead and perform repetitive movements

Must be able to lift, carry, transfer, push, and pull up to 35 lbs.

Must be able to grasp with both hands and perform fine motor tasks requiring coordination and repetitive motion

Good hand-eye coordination for inspection and material handling

Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures

Qualifications

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, including understanding and following detailed verbal instructions

Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or automotive experience preferred but not required

Work Hours

6:00 PM - 2:30 AM - Overtime is expected

Pay Rate

$17.50/hr
