Job Summary: Project QA Technicians support project teams with the construction, maintenance, qualification and tracking of verification test fixtures, lab equipment and verification test units. They are familiar with test procedures and test methods for medical devices and the standard practices for updating and/or creating new procedures. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Help create and maintain test fixtures, test equipment and verification assemblies. Troubleshoot and repair test fixtures and verification assemblies used in verification testing. Assist with calibration and / or qualification of test fixtures. Track all test fixtures, test equipment and verification test unit configurations. Assist Design Verification Engineers in the setup of the verification test stands or test cells. Assist in the execution of verification test procedures. Follow Forj Medical Standard Operating Procedures and Best Practices. During execution of procedures, create redlines as needed Assist with creation of verification procedures Qualifications and Requirements: Two-year Tech degree or higher preferred. 4 years technical experience with a preference for the medical or military or avionics industry. Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, power supply, function generator, voltmeter, etc.) and the application of such equipment. Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot to the component level. Capable of creating technical documentation to detail the construction, use and qualification of verification test equipment. Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
