Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Global Security Future Architectures (GSFA) Ground Team for upcoming work on the Hornet program. This person will become a member of our integration & test engineering team to support our informal & formal test initiatives; which includes a combination of internal & external testing, as well as formal execution and acceptance testing of newly developed capabilities. The candidate will need to have an understanding of test execution within an operational system, as well as experience with software development & integration, and scripting.
This position is contingent on program award, expected in 3Q 2026.
Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Experience working with scripting tools
Proficiency with Agile development tools, techniques and associated business rhythms

Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
Prior experience working in a classified environment
