Job Overview
Primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical assistance to customers in areas of installation, startup, maintenance, repair and training of high voltage test and measurement equipment. This position will also provide assistance in testing of high voltage production units at the Hipotronics factory in Reading PA.

A Day In The Life
Travels to customers on short notice (50-75%) to provide technical assistance - Domestic & International
Interfaces with customers about the operation and application of our High Voltage equipment in their setting or test environment.
Performing High Voltage testing, troubleshooting, installation, or repairs at customers' sites
Performs final tests required to ensure that equipment operates as stipulated in engineering specifications and makes any adjustments necessary. Prepares a written report of all work performed together with test results and generates test reports.
Supports customers via phone and email, understand their requirements and help resolve issues
Assists with production testing in the Hipotronics factory, ensuring products are assembled correctly and test steps are done properly prior to final test
Supports service group by providing part numbers for quoting, ability to search BOMs in sap and identify parts
What will help you thrive in this role?
2-year degree in technical field
Preferred 5+ years experience with testing, troubleshooting and calibrating analog and digital control metering circuits.
Preferred 5+ years reading schematics and working with handheld tools and test instruments.
Experience interfacing with customers
Excellent time management, organization, communication, and prioritization capability.
Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of internal and external customers.
The ability to work at heights.
