Principal Flight Test Analyst

MTSI is seeking to hire a Principal Flight Test Analyst in Huntsville, AL. This position requires a highly motivated candidate supporting the Director of Flight Test at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The qualified candidate will report daily activities and products to the Director of Flight Test Integration - Execution (DTFIE), who has overall responsibility for developing checklists, calendars, and element integration leading to the execution of MDA missions and supporting events. This position will provide programmatic, technical, and analytical reports to various Mission Test Directors throughout the planning and execution of complex missions. MDA Flight Test experience is highly desired. Responsibilities: Lead a small team in developing and maintaining documentation, coordination, and consultation that directly reflects and impacts a Mission Test Director. Develop mission checklists that provide realtime updates to various stakeholders and mission assets. Deploy and manage the Operational Dashboard (OPDASH) to provide realtime mission status, including countdown clocks, asset readiness, and checklist progress during flight tests. Facilitate and execute wellstructured Mission Execution Team Working Group (METWG) planning meetings to optimize coordination, ensure alignment, and drive efficient decisionmaking. Support all phases of test planning, training, and execution of Tier 1/2/3 test environments in accordance with the current Concept of Operations (CONOPS). Perform programmatic analyst review for test activities before and after events, providing lessonslearned inputs and supporting panel reviews. Produce test procedures detailing timecritical events supporting the Mission Countdown Events (CDE). Update mission documentation as calendar adjustments occur. Integrate complex test requirements into a structured framework, identifying and mitigating risks in advance and maintaining alignment across all stakeholders. Support test integration and planning meetings, BMDS CONOPS Phase Reviews, and data archival meetings, as directed. Provide direct onconsole support to key Mission Execution Team (MET) leadership, including the Mission Test Director (MTD), Associate Operations Test Director (AOTD), and Sensors Test Director (SNTD), during mission execution. Experience Requirements: B.S. degree with 7+ years of experience Comprehensive knowledge of Flight Test Operations Secret clearance Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Selfstarter with the ability to lead a small team Desired Qualifications: Engineering, mathematics, science, or a similar technical degree Proficiency in Microsoft Project TS Clearance #LI-JJ1
