The Quality Technician will support inspection, testing, and quality assurance processes. This role is critical in ensuring products meet strict customer and industry specifications while driving continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on machined components
Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMM, etc.) to verify product quality
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and specifications
Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
Identify and report nonconforming materials; support root cause analysis and corrective actions
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues
Assist with internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO/AS standards (as applicable)
Qualifications:
4+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
Experience with inspection tools and equipment; CMM experience a plus
Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar)
Proficiency in documentation and basic computer skills (Excel, ERP systems a plus)
Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000
