Test Technician

Job Title: Test Technician
Location: East Windsor, CT (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Pay Range: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour on W2
Shift: Second (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)

Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of tasks related to the testing of raw materials, coating samples, and verification on thermal spray coating on part samples.
• Following internal procedures, OEM specifications, blueprint callouts.
• Help assist in investigations and analyzes of test samples.
• Document the review and evaluation of in-process samples.
• Prepare technical reports and product verification documentation summarizing findings and recommending solutions to a wide variety of technical problems as applicable.
• Mounting and grinding test samples to be able to evaluate under a microscope.
• Prepare and evaluate samples to ensure coating is meeting blueprint, customer needs, and specification.

• 1+ years lab experience.
• Familiar with measurement equipment (microscope, hardness tester, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Associate’s, Bachelors, or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer skills (Client word, Excel, PowerPoint).
