You will be the Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of manufactured and procured products within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving product excellence across the supply chain.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute inspection plans for manufactured and procured components.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for nonconformances.
- Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in product quality.
- Maintain and improve quality documentation and compliance with aerospace standards.
- Support crossfunctional teams with datadriven quality metrics and reporting.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
-Bachelors degree in a STEM related field with 1+ years of experience , no experience required with a STEM Masters degree or equivalent combined education and experience.-Ability to work independently and as a team player.
-Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
-This position requires the ability to obtain a secret clearance within a year of starting, therefore all candidates need to be US Citizens.-Strong written and oral communication skills.
-Working knowledge of MES systems
-Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes.
-Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods.
-Discrete and/or Micro-electronics experience.
-J-STD-001/IPC-A-610 familiarization.
-ASQ CQE.
