We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Quality Engineer Test Automation role with one of our clients based in San Jose, CA. Please find the job details below:

Position: Software Quality Engineer Test Automation
Location: San Jose, CA (4 Days Onsite & 1 Day WFH)
Employment Type: [Contract/Full-Time]

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Playwright and JMeter.
• Perform API, load, and performance testing.
• Utilize AI tools/workflows to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Software Testing and Test Automation
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, JMeter, or similar tools
• Knowledge of ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP
• Programming skills in C#, Java, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
• API testing experience using Postman or REST Assured
