Chandler, AZ 85225 Posted about 5 hours New To be considered for the position of QC Inspector II at Turbo Resources we require the following abilities and qualifications: Performs quality control inspections and checks during acquisition and/or sale of products. Visually inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of the product realization process. Records observations within Windows based software. May make recommendations for improving processes. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 3 or more years of related experience. Familiar or capable of achieving competency with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within aircraft parts distribution industry. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Basic math skills and reasoning skills. Must have good communication skills. Must meet Snellen 20/25 minimum or equivalent of near vision, either corrected or uncorrected, in both eyes. Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Reports to a supervisor and ability to understand and execute instructions. Requires ability to push, pull, lift, stack and carry materials weighing up to 35 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. This position requires walking, standing, and/or climbing, balancing, heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching with hands and arms and grasping. Work outside and inside; work around machinery with moving parts; work around moving objects or vehicles; exposure to dampness and humidity; work on ladders and scaffolding; exposure to slippery and uneven surfaces. Ability to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code. Operate inventory control equipment, ie bar-coding equipment, handheld devices. General understanding of the warehouse and footprint. Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment. Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by Management. Must be available and willing to work such weekends and holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs. Must be able to respond quickly to instructions in a noisy, fast-paced work environment Must be able to meet legally mandated safety standards required to perform a job.
