Job Summary

Production Support Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Salary: $85K-$90K/year

Technical Skill

1. 6+ years of professional experience in performance testing and engineering

2. Strong skills in monitoring of frontend and server performance metrics

3. Strong experience in bottleneck analysis, profiling and tracing

4. Extensive hands on experience with performance engineering, including the use of JMeter, LoadRunner or similar tools, as well

as monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Introscope or similar tools

5. Strong hands on experience on system monitoring tools and frameworks

6. Experience with Microservices, Dockers, Containers

Responsibilities

1. Work with key business, stechnical teams and stakeholders to understand/clarify requirements and determine performance test scenarios

2. Develop and implement performance tests based on technical architecture of the assigned project

3. Develop performance test plans, test scripts and test data

4. Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability

5. Develop reusable performance scripts by using different LoadRunner protocols including but not limited to web HTTP/HTTPS, SOAP/XML

6. Monitor frontend and server performance metrics using Dynatrace, Splunk or similar tools

7. Identify, report and manage defects in defect tracking system

8. Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for fixes

9. Analysis of test results to expose potential performance issues

10. Root cause analysis of poorly performing applications

11. Determine performance bottlenecks

12. Work with stakeholders for drivign issues and fixes
