Quality Technician PAE2 Job Description This role supports the final testing of automated material handling systems in large warehouse environments. You will load and unload boxes or totes onto conveyor systems at designated points, remove them at specified locations, and assist engineers as they verify system performance. In addition to supporting test runs, you will help with general warehouse and construction-related tasks to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Responsibilities Support automated system testing by placing boxes or totes onto conveyor systems at designated input points and removing them at designated output points. Follow directions from engineers and project team members to execute test runs accurately and on schedule. Work productively during periods of downtime between test runs by assisting with general labor and housekeeping tasks. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment in the warehouse and surrounding areas. Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed, including moving materials and equipment safely. Support general warehouse operations such as basic material handling, box making, and organizing work areas. Assist with general labor tasks as required on a commercial construction site within an active warehouse environment. Stand and move continuously for up to 8 hours per shift while performing warehouse and testing activities. Follow all safety guidelines and site rules, including those related to working on an active construction site. Communicate clearly with team members and remain flexible in taking on different tasks as work priorities change. Essential Skills Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day. Willingness to perform a variety of warehouse and general labor tasks as needed. Positive attitude and openness to direction in a fast-paced, changing environment. Basic experience in general labor, warehouse production, or warehouse pick/pack work. Ability to work safely in an active warehouse and construction setting. Reliability and punctuality to support scheduled test runs and warehouse activities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is a plus. Experience working on commercial construction sites is a plus. OSHA 10 certification is a plus. Experience with warehouse operations such as box making, material handling, and basic production tasks is beneficial. construction or general labor environments is advantageous. Work is performed on your feet for most of the shift, with regular walking, standing, lifting, and handling of boxes and totes.
