Quality Inspector – Kelly, Salt Lake City, UT

Kelly is looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Inspector to work in a dynamic light industrial environment in Salt Lake City, UT. Join our team and help ensure that top-quality standards are met for essential company products.

Pay: $20 / hr

Hours: 6:30 pm – 6:30 am (rotating)

Position Overview:

As an Entry-Level Inspector, you will perform a range of inspection tasks to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include visual inspections, basic functional testing, and routine evaluations of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies. You will work with precision tools such as microscopes, calipers, and micrometers, and complete between 10-15 different types of inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

	
• Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections according to inspection plans and specification requirements.
  
  	

• Complete PCI activities for NA Notifications as needed.
  
  	

• Maintain compliance with Quality System Regulations (including cGMP).
  
  	

• Support documentation processes, including preparing pallets for shipment and document scanning for electronic archival.
  
  	

• Initiate Non-Conformance (NC) reports and support NC and CAPA activities.
  
  	

• Participate in special projects as required.
  
  

Qualifications:

	
• High school diploma or GED required; AA or Technical Degree preferred.
  
  	

• Must be at least 18 years old.
  
  	

• Basic computer skills for regular data entry and information access.
  
  	

• Basic written and oral communication skills to understand instructions and read work documents, including engineering drawings.
  
  	

• Knowledge of medical device regulations or FDA standards a plus.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

	
• Ability to perform essential job functions in an office environment.
  
  	

• Prolonged periods of sitting for data entry and analysis.
  
  	

• Adequate manual dexterity to use standard office equipment and inspection tools.
  
  	

• Ability to occasionally lift objects up to 25 lbs.
