You will be the Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for the AirLaunched Rapid Response Weapon (ARRW) team. Our team is responsible for ensuring quality standards are met throughout the development process, from design to production, by collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, and suppliers.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) you will be responsible for driving supplier quality excellence across the ARRW program.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and lead supplier quality plans and requirements.
  • Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and performance monitoring.
  • Lead rootcause investigations and correctiveaction initiatives.
  • Partner with engineering and manufacturing to resolve quality issues.
  • Track, analyze, and report quality metrics throughout the product lifecycle.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

STEM degree at the bachelors level or higher, preferably in a Technical, Industrial or Quality Assurance related field or equivalent combined education/experience

Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection of manufactured products.

An understanding of engineering drawings requirements mechanical and electrical inspection methods.

Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics.

Demonstrated ability to use casual analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex.

Ability to travel 25%-50%.

Must be able to obtain a secret secret clearance. Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)

Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management.

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CSQ) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)

Understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems

Awareness of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Demonstrated team leadership skills

Customer Relationship Management skills

Experience working with Government customers

Effective communication skills including written, oral, listening and technical writing.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Demonstrated presentation skills.

Effective interpersonal skills including team building and collaboration.

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
