Required skills:
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Playwright, modern test automation frameworks, and end-to-end quality engineering practices.
The role requires strong hands-on coding ability, excellent analytical thinking, and the ability to influence automation best practices organization wide.
The candidate must possess strong knowledge of UI, API, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, test framework architecture, and automation design patterns is essential.
Experience integrating Playwright with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, and reporting frameworks is highly preferred.
Knowledge of performance testing, API automation, test data management, and cloud-based test execution platforms will be an added advantage.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate leadership qualities, ownership mindset, logical reasoning skills, and a passion for continuous improvement in software quality engineering.
Nice to have skills:
Experience working in Utility industry is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field with significant experience in enterprise automation testing environments preferred.
