Treatment Quality Management Internship

Role summary

Align is looking for a TQM (Treatment Quality Management) Intern to join our team in Belen, Heredia, Costa Rica.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality management within a global manufacturing and operations environment. The intern will support the review and analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), contribute to the design and documentation of quality control processes, and assist in implementing initiatives to ensure treatment plans meet established standards.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, the intern will help develop action plans based on KPI trends, support process improvement projects, and contribute to creating performance tracking tools.

This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate seeking to expand their knowledge of quality management systems, data analysis, and process improvement while gaining exposure to a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment.

What we're looking for.

In this internship, you'll need

• Advanced college student or recent graduate in Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or other related engineering or technical fields at an accredited university.
• Basic to intermediate programming knowledge is preferred (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA, or similar) for data analysis, automation, or performance tracking.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Interest or experience in quality systems, continuous improvement, or manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Familiarity with data handling, reporting tools, or dashboards is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Schedule availability to allocate +24 hours a week on the internship project.
