Quality Control Tech

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and quality assurance, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Tech to join their team. As a Quality Control Tech, you will be an essential part of the quality assurance department supporting inspection and testing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Control Tech

Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD

Pay Range: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour based on experinece

Shift: First shift (7:30am - 4:00pm)

What's the Job?

• Perform incoming inspection of procured materials to ensure quality standards are met
• Conduct in-process audits and inspections during manufacturing processes
• Perform final product inspections in accordance with drawings, engineering change orders, and workmanship standards
• Use hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and scales to verify measurements
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to maintain quality standards

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3+ years of quality inspection experience or equivalent training
• Experience using hand tools like calipers, micrometers, and scales
• Basic understanding of drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with Windows environment and basic computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
