Preferred Experience - Electronics experience (Important), RF experience, Use of Bird meters/ multimeters (Important), Use of programable power supplies (Important), Troubleshooting experience , Circuit board experience (DSP boards).
We're looking for a hands-on Electromechanical Test Technician who likes figuring things out, digging into root cause, and working closely with engineering to improve products. If youve spent time in semiconductor environments and are comfortable troubleshooting down to the component level, this is a solid fit.
What youll be doing:
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical products down to assembly and component
level
- Load software and set up Ethernet communications
- Use tools like multi-meters, leak detectors, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
- Analyze failed units, collect test data, and perform root cause analysis
- Work from schematics, technical manuals, and engineering specs
- Partner with Engineering and Quality to resolve issues and improve performance
- Support Design Verification Testing (DVT) and validate new or existing products
- Communicate with suppliers and technical support as needed
- Build or modify test fixtures when required
- Redline and update test documentation for accuracy
- Help train junior technicians and share best practices
- Ensure all lab equipment is calibrated and maintained
What we're looking for:
- High school diploma with technical training (Associate's degree preferred)
- 5+ years of semiconductor experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electromechanical systems
- Comfortable reading schematics and technical documentation
- Someone who takes initiative, spots problems early, and brings solutions
