Mechanical Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform Dimensional Inspection: Conduct first-article, in-process, and final inspections on complex machined parts.
  
  
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols, and specifications.
  
  
• Utilize Precision Tools: Use standard inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and optical comparators.
  
  
• CMM Operation (Plus): Set up and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)—programming experience is a major plus but not always required.
  
  
• Documentation: Accurately document inspection results, maintain quality logs, and generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary.
