Quality Assurance Manager

Gpac is working with a well-established RTE food manufacturer that is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in Southern Indiana. They will relocate! USDA/Meat experience is required! Responsibilities: Implement QA policies, procedures, and directives to ensure compliance with company, customer, and government expectations, providing feedback and follow-up for corrective action. Participate in customer audits and annual SQF audits as needed. Conduct pre-shipment reviews, CCPs, validation studies, and report deficiencies for GMPs, HACCP, and SSOPs. Direct inspection and sampling activities to maintain continuous control over materials, facilities, and products, including specification inspections, temperature, and weight checks. Identify and resolve problems promptly; skillfully gather and analyze information; develop alternative solutions; and work well in group problem-solving situations. Collaborate with the Plant Manager and Sanitation Manager to ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and grounds. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications: Computer skills, analytical equipment and food-processing equipment. Knowledge of quality control processes related to the food-processing industry. Knowledge of quality process control and HACCP, SSOP and SOP. Knowledge of USDA and FDA standards. Self-starter, motivator, goal-oriented and a strategic thinker. Good organizational and communication skills both verbally and written.
