Quality Inspector

Innovent is looking for a Quality Inspector to support the Quality Manager that will be taking a leave of absence.

This job will start as a permanent position and once the employee is back, you will move to a different area that needs help.

Job Summary:

-Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality result to insure that shipped product fulfills customer specifications and
quality requirements.
-Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and
measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
-Inspects in-process and finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and
measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
-Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required.
-Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and
waste; inputting data into quality logs.
-Initiate Non-Conformance reports as required and work with engineering determining
dispositions.
-Document and report inspection findings and results and monitors corrective actions to
inspection findings.
-Work with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions. Communicate with
project engineers to ensure schematics are in compliance with the final product.
-Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for
repairs.
-Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures;
complying with legal regulations.
-Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; training.
-Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
-Communicate with supervisors, engineers, production control, quality and other shop
personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
-Other duties as required.
