Our Billerica, Massachusetts facility specializes in the design and manufacturing of advanced photonics products, including high-voltage power supplies used in demanding industrial and medical applications such as X-ray inspection, lasers, materials curing, and additive manufacturing.

Core Focus of the Role
This position is dedicated to the hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and burn-in of high-voltage power supplies. Candidates must have high-voltage power experience as a primary part of their background, not incidental exposure.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform production testing, compliance testing, and burn-in of high-voltage power supplies
- Set up and operate oscilloscopes and high-voltage test equipment per work instructions
- Troubleshoot product and test equipment issues involving high-voltage systems
- Evaluate customer returns and support failure analysis in collaboration with Engineering
- Collect and document test data to support engineering analysis and product improvements
- Identify quality concerns and recommend test or process improvements
- Meet daily throughput requirements based on product complexity
- Follow all high-voltage safety protocols, gowning, and EHS requirements

Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Electronics or equivalent technical training and experience
- 5+ years of hands-on high-voltage electrical testing experience
- Direct experience working with high-voltage power supplies
- Comfortable working with voltage ranges from 1kV up to 180kV
- Strong understanding of high-voltage safety practices, grounding, insulation, discharge, and
arc prevention
- Experience performing HV burn-in, compliance testing, and failure analysis
- Ability to read and interpret detailed work instructions and test procedure
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Working knowledge of Windows and MS Office
- Effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Experience
- Background in power electronics, industrial power systems, or high-voltage generators
- Experience with X-ray, laser, imaging, semiconductor, or inspection systems
- Prior work in regulated manufacturing environments (industrial, medical, aerospace, defense)
