Your Role: At EMD Electronics, we are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Quality Control group at our Hometown facility to support the analysis of specialty gas products used in the semiconductor fabrication industry. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for routine trace metal analysis of finished goods and raw materials for existing and new product lines. The Laboratory Technician may be required to assist with safety, health, environmental, and product quality improvements under general guidelines and supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor and Manager. The position may be required to support the 24/7 plant operations and/or special projects. Provide routine trace metal's analytical support for operations, quality and R D teams. Analyze samples and communicate results to respective business unit. Operate and maintain analytical equipment. Perform preventative maintenance tasks within the laboratory. Operate equipment such as ICP-MS, analytical balance, microwave digestion system, pipettes, and pH meter. Sample collection in a production environment. Adhere to and support the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance program at the site. Support safety inspections and other safety programs. Maintain lab inventory.
