Summary Description:
Test, inspect and troubleshoot problems with products at various stages of the production process and compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
Essential Functions:
Performing product inspections at different stages of the part processes to ensure product quality.
The product inspections would include visual inspections, borescope inspections and wall thickness inspections.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, noting deviations or defects found to ensure traceability and quality control.
Confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards (as required)
Communicate identified defects promptly to supervisors and collaborate on corrective actions for timely resolution.
Performing inspections at random to assess product quality.
Accepting or rejecting products and discussing the inspection results with the production team.
Provide interpretation of quality requirements on production floor
Analyze quality-related customer concerns, identify root causes, and collaborate on solutions to prevent recurrence.
Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability
Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned
Skills or Experience Required:
Must have High School diploma or GED. Must have High School diploma or GED. Must have strong interpersonal skills including being capable of working with others in the resolution of problems and getting the job done.
