Our client, a leading provider of medical technology solutions, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be an essential part of the Service Department supporting healthcare facilities and medical institutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: (Remote work available, candidates must be local to Houston, TX, or willing to travel extensively in Houston ,TX)- 100% Travel

Pay Range: $29/hr on w2

What's the Job?

  • Perform installation, maintenance, servicing, and testing of high-quality medical device systems and components.
  • Conduct hardware and software upgrades, handle service repair calls, and execute preventive maintenance on medical systems.
  • Maintain accurate service records and submit reports to the Quality Management System.
  • Manage travel schedules efficiently, communicate effectively, and adhere to company policies regarding expenses.
  • Support regulatory compliance and company initiatives related to quality, environment, and safety standards.

What's Needed?

  • Associates or technical degree required; relevant experience is also acceptable.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and mechanical assembly skills, with the ability to work with tools.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience working in a medical device environment is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
