Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector is responsible to ensure products and incoming materialsmeet applicable contract, drawings, specifications, and written requirements perinspection instructions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs final visual and dimensional inspections of productsInspects incoming materials and parts from suppliers to ensure they conformto specificationsDispositions product according to written procedures and work instructionsMaintains inventory location and status via barcode scanning and electronicdatabaseMaintains and updates documentation of records via FilePro, writtendocumentation and spreadsheetsAssists and performs sort activities (internal / external)Communication with Quality Engineers, Supervisors and Cell LeadsAny other task assigned by manager

High School Diploma or GEDStrong communication skillsIPC-A-610 CertifiedIPC-A-620 CertifiedJ-STD-001 CertifiedProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to read and interpret drawingsAbility to use a microscope and handheld gagesAbility to work independently and as a teamAbility to lift to 40 pounds, occasionallyWilling to work overtime as neededAbility to pass a Visual Acuity Exam
