Quality Assurance Tech.

Cardinal Staffing is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a manufacturer of colorants in Sandusky, OH.
Ability to train on days for 6-8 Wks 9:30am-6pm $17Moving to 2nd shift 2p-10:30p $18
Position is fulltime with benefits at hire in Job Summary This position is responsible for performing quality checks, documenting results, and helping ensure products meet company and customer standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good computer and math skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality inspections and testing on products and materials
• Record and maintain accurate testing and production data
• Use measuring tools and equipment to verify product specifications
• Communicate quality concerns or discrepancies to supervisors and production staff
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation and reports
• Follow all safety, housekeeping, and company procedures
• Assist with investigations and corrective actions when quality issues arise
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department

Qualifications

• Good attendance and reliability
• Good math skills
• Detail oriented
• Good computer skills
• Understanding of the importance of accuracy
• Understands good housekeeping practices and adheres to them
• Possess critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience

• Previous manufacturing or quality experience preferred
• A background in laboratory testing would be helpful but not necessary

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery and production equipment
