Quality Control Inspector - Precision Metal & Machining Nashua, NH Full-Time | Day Shift Join a Growing Precision Manufacturing Team We are a growing machining and sheet metal fabrication company known for precision workmanship, quality products, and outstanding customer service. We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector who takes pride in accuracy, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role supporting quality inspections for precision fabricated metal parts across multiple production stages. What You'll Do Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on fabricated metal parts Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications Complete inspection reports and customer-required FAI documentation Inspect returned materials and support rework/RMA processes Identify and communicate non-conforming materials or products Verify outside vendor documentation and incoming materials Maintain organized and accurate quality records Support continuous improvement and a positive team environment Follow all company safety and quality procedures Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of Quality Inspection experience in sheet metal fabrication or machining Experience inspecting fabricated metal parts to tight tolerances Strong blueprint and engineering drawing reading skills Proficiency using: Calipers Micrometers Scales Combination squares Other inspection equipment Ability to work with both English and Metric measurements Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems Additional technical training or certifications in manufacturing or quality Experience completing First Article Inspection (FAI) reports Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
