Quality Control Technician

A growing chemical manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Quality Control Technician to support laboratory testing, product quality, and compliance activities at its Winston-Salem facility. This role will work closely with production and quality teams to perform routine laboratory testing, approve materials, maintain documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC testing on raw materials and chemical blends
• Conduct titrations, water sampling, and laboratory testing
• Review batch records and production documentation
• Approve and release materials/products based on QC results
• Accurately document and record testing data
• Support SOP creation and process improvements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment
• Assist with inventory and laboratory operations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a QC, analytical, or laboratory environment
• Hands-on titration experience required
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Comfortable working independently and within a team
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Experience in chemical, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or regulated environments preferred
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science is a plus
