Quality Control Technician
A growing chemical manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Quality Control Technician to support laboratory testing, product quality, and compliance activities at its Winston-Salem facility. A growing chemical manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Quality Control Technician to support laboratory testing, product quality, and compliance activities at its Winston-Salem facility. This role will work closely with production and quality teams to perform routine laboratory testing, approve materials, maintain documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine QC testing on raw materials and chemical blends
- Conduct titrations, water sampling, and laboratory testing
- Review batch records and production documentation
- Approve and release materials/products based on QC results
- Accurately document and record testing data
- Support SOP creation and process improvements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment
- Assist with inventory and laboratory operations
- 3+ years of experience in a QC, analytical, or laboratory environment
- Hands-on titration experience required
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Comfortable working independently and within a team
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Experience in chemical, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or regulated environments preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science is a plus
- $55,000 salary
