The Commercial Quality Control Specialist supports risk mitigation and quality assurance by performing post-closing reviews of new, renewed, and modified Business Banking and Commercial loans. This role will ensure loan documentation aligns with approved terms, confirms proper lien perfection, and tracks and resolves documentation exceptions. In addition, the incumbent reviews compliance data in nCino for accuracy related to HMDA, CRA, and flood requirements, collaborates with internal partners and vendors, and manages a high volume of work with accuracy and efficiency. Job Responsibilities Complete quality control post loan closing by reviewing and confirming loan documents are all present and correctly executed. Identify and enter any exceptions into the Bank's tracking system. Ensure timely and proper filing of various collateral documents including mortgages, UCCs, motor vehicle titles, life insurance policies (as applicable). Responsible for meeting service level expectations in addition to team and individual goals. Accurately evaluate and upload data into the systems of record to ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements specific to HMDA and CRA. Ensure that proper policy, procedural, and compliance requirements have been met. Review and track insurance documentation. Scan and index documents to Bank's origination system in a timely manner. Create and maintain legal files. While primarily performing Quality Control tasks, the incumbent will be trained on Loan Documentation process and procedures. Tasks include but are not limited to analyze executed documents for accuracy and completeness, identify any closing errors or missing items on the E&O tracking report, be responsible and take ownership of E&O tracking report, perform a monthly review of E&O's to ensure collateral is properly secured, and communicate with internal partners, Vendors and Client's when additional information is required. Minimum Qualifications: Must have some college or 5+ years relevant banking experience. Must have extensive knowledge of Commercial and/or Business Banking loan products. Proficient in Banking regulations, specifically HMDA and CRA. Experience with LaserPro documentation review, Salesforce, and nCino software is preferred. A strong understanding of loan structures, legal documentation, banking regulations, and collateral perfection is required, along with the ability to support process improvements and digital initiatives. Must have a strong degree of flexibility and the ability to adapt to an ever changing list of priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient use of MS Office products. Thorough understanding of laws, regulations and procedures applicable to perfection of security interest. Ability to perform the function with a high degree of accuracy in high volume, time-sensitive situations required. Ability to organize and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks concurrently in a metrics driven environment. Understands the importance of details and seeks to understand their impacts; methodical approach to tasks; procedure/process oriented. Salary Range: $48,416.00 - $79,541.75 Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate's experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
