PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a respected leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced Quality Engineer in Mountain Home, PA . In this role, you'll help drive compliance, solve complex production challenges, and strengthen quality systems that keep operations running at peak performance. Your expertise will support both program and product quality while contributing to world-class aviation solutions.

What You'll Do

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across operations. Responsibilities include:

Lead execution of escape management procedures, root cause investigations, and corrective action planning/implementation

Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders regarding escapes, quality systems, regulations, and compliance matters

Develop and implement inspection plans to ensure product conformity

Generate, review, and approve First Article Inspection documentation in accordance with AS9102

Drive development, modification, and maintenance of quality evaluation systems, controls, and protocols

Participate in Quality Clinic and Material Review Board (MRB) processes, including disposition of nonconforming material and process noncompliance events

Analyze and explain testing and inspection plans, methods, and technologies to ensure reliability and conformance

Ensure projects and process control documentation meet customer, contract, and regulatory requirements

Support supplier quality, customer quality, RMAs, warranty processes, part purges, and MRB activities

Develop proactive quality initiatives and lead implementation efforts

Support both Program Quality Engineering and Product Quality Engineering functions

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience OR

Advanced degree in an appropriate discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AS9100 quality management systems

Previous MRB (Material Review Board) experience

Aerospace, aviation, or highly regulated manufacturing background preferred

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Position Details

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Mountain Home, PA

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12 Months)

Pay Rate: $28.63/hour

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $28.63 per hour
