Quality Engineer | Manufacturing | Career Path to Leadership

I'm partnering with a global manufacturing organization to identify a high-potential Quality Engineer to join their growing team in the Triad.
This is not your typical QE role - this position is being hired as a succession track to the Quality Manager, offering direct mentorship and a clear path into leadership within the next couple of years.
What You'll Do
Lead investigations into customer quality issues and complaints
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions (CAPA)
Analyze data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Partner cross-functionally with production, maintenance, and engineering teams
Support audits, compliance, and overall quality system effectiveness (ISO environment)
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality
Strong background in data analysis, statistics, and problem-solving tools
Experience working directly with customer-facing quality issues
