Quality Engineer | Manufacturing | Career Path to Leadership

I'm partnering with a global manufacturing organization to identify a high-potential Quality Engineer to join their growing team in the Triad.

This is not your typical QE role - this position is being hired as a succession track to the Quality Manager, offering direct mentorship and a clear path into leadership within the next couple of years.

What You'll Do

  • Lead investigations into customer quality issues and complaints

  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions (CAPA)

  • Analyze data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Partner cross-functionally with production, maintenance, and engineering teams

  • Support audits, compliance, and overall quality system effectiveness (ISO environment)

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

  • 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality

  • Strong background in data analysis, statistics, and problem-solving tools

  • Experience working directly with customer-facing quality issues
