This position will report to the Manager of F-35 L.O. Fabrication and Finishes Quality manager with responsibility for leading F-35 Product-Quality activities to support the following build areas: Component Final Finishes (CFF), Line Final Finishes (LFF), Aircraft Final Finishes (AFF), Aircraft Test Facility (ATF), Fuel Test Facility (FTF), Ground Operations, Flight Operations (including the Debrief process), DD-250 (artifact collection and aircraft preparation stage for sale to USG), and Ferry (delivery to customers around the Globe)
The Associate Manager, F-35 Production/L.O. manages more than one functional area in Production Quality. Responsible for: Coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training,
performance assessments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for resource allocation, work assignments and establishing/maintaining an effective business rhythm. Responsible for all aspects of quality for assigned area of responsibility. Communicates quality requirements, concerns and expectations. Active participant in risk and opportunity management processes. Ensures cost commitments and financial responsibilities are met. Ensures appropriate identification and flow down of quality requirements (internal and contractual) and effective implementation of quality requirements. Ensures effective implementation of quality management system within area of responsibility. Ensures effective implementation of a metrics program and actively address adverse trends. Ensures product acceptance and delivery per established process and program requirements.

building and collaboration- Appropriate Bachelor's/Master's degree from an
accredited college, or equivalent
experience/combined education, with
professional experience and specialized training
commensurate with assignment
-Experience with Product-Quality methods either from the quality or manufacturing perspective
- Experience managing Low Observable (LO) Coating/Technology processes
- Experienced in Quality Management Systems
(AS9100, AS9102, AS9145)
- Experience working with Government
customers
- Effective Communication and Presentation
Skills
- Strong business acumen
- Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement
- Effective communication skills, i.e., written,
oral, listening and technical writing
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis and Effective
