Work hours are first shift from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Job Responsibilities: Accurately and consistently apply IPC visual quality acceptability requirements for finished electronic assemblies Perform final release acceptance activities applying IPC-610 visual standards, assembly drawings, customer requirements, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Clearly document inspection results Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Department, Manufacturing Department, and Engineering Department to identify and implement continuous process improvement initiatives Must be willing and able to work in a clean room and comply with all standards, if needed Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements Job Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; ASQ CQIA (Certified Quality Improvement Associate) preferred Must have 3 to 5 years verifiable work history in electronics manufacturing and 2 years of documented PCBA inspection work history IPC-A-600 certification, receiving Inspection and/or Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and data analysis is helpful Must have knowledge of ISO-13485 standard and must pass IPC-A-610 training within six months and renew every two years Must be proficient using calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and other inspection aids, as well as, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook The ability to read and understand work instructions, assembly drawings, and routing cards Must be able to work independently to resolve issues with escalation to management, as needed Must have excellent communication, organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Must have the ability to work well in a team environment and comply with company quality assurance standards Must pass a Jaeger eye exam, lift up to 50 pounds, and be comfortable sitting up to 80% of the time Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
