Die Cast Quality Technician

Cardinal Staffing is seeking a DIE CAST QUALITY TECH . for a magnesium recycling and die casting company serving automotive, aerospace, and industrial customers.
Job Details: A Die Cast Quality Tech. would mainly be responsible for inspecting metal cast parts and making sure they meet quality standards before they move further into production or ship to customers.
Responsibilities:

• Inspecting die cast parts for defects like cracks, porosity, warping, or incorrect dimensions
• Using measuring tools and quality gauges to check parts
• Performing visual inspections throughout production
• Documenting inspection results and rejected parts
• Working closely with machine operators and production teams to catch issues early
• Helping troubleshoot quality problems in the die casting process
• Reading blueprints or specs to verify parts are correct
• Possibly using CMM equipment (Coordinate Measuring Machine) as production grows
• Maintaining quality records and supporting audits or customer requirements

Since the company works with magnesium and aluminum die casting for industries like automotive and aerospace, attention to detail and consistency are a big part of the role. The environment is manufacturing-focused, so it’s usually a mix of shop floor inspections and paperwork/computer tracking.
Compensation: $17 DIRECT HIRE with Benefits day 1Shift- 1st shift 8-4 M-F HOWEVER when production ramps up in 2027 this position will go to 12 hours on a 2/3 on off schedule.
