Job Title: Entry-Level Quality / Manufacturing Professional (Metrology Lab)
Location: DallasFort Worth, TX (Onsite)
Pay: $20.00 per hour to start
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite

Overview
We are seeking a motivated Quality or Manufacturing professional with at least two years of industry experience who is eager to grow into a leadership role within a specialized metrology laboratory in the North Fort Worth area. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the owner of the lab, learning the technical, operational, and business aspects of a precision measurement and calibration operation.

This position is designed as a long-term succession and development opportunity. The individual hired will act as an understudy to the owner, gaining hands-on exposure to quality systems, measurement science, client relationships, and lab operations. As your knowledge and responsibilities grow, your compensation and role will grow as well.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily operations of a precision metrology and calibration laboratory
Support measurement, inspection, and calibration activities for customer components and equipment
Learn and apply quality standards, documentation, and lab procedures
Maintain accurate records, reports, and calibration documentation
Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and verification
Support internal quality processes and continuous improvement initiatives
Work directly with the owner to understand operational workflows, customer service, and business management
Gradually take on increased responsibility in lab operations and client support as skills develop

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, inspection, or metrology
Basic understanding of measurement tools and inspection methods (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Desire to learn the business side of a technical operation and grow into greater responsibility
Ability to work onsite in the DFW area

Preferred (Not Required)
Exposure to quality systems such as ISO 9001 or ISO/IEC 17025
Experience in a machine shop, manufacturing facility, or calibration lab
Familiarity with GD&T or inspection reports
