Apply Now Applied To save a job sign in or get started Job ID: Posted today Back , , , On-site , , , On-site Apply Now Applied Job details Quality Assurance Technician Location: Warren, OH Hours: 1st Shift 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Temp-to-Hire Pay: $19-$25 per hour (based on experience) Kelly is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to help maintain and evolve our Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO9001 accreditation. This role is essential in driving quality initiatives and maintaining standards for excellence in the electronics industry. Key Responsibilities: Internal Auditing: Lead and execute audits across various departments to ensure processes are updated and compliant. Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA): Guide cross-functional teams through structured root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone), recommending robust corrective actions and verifying their effectiveness. Document Control: Manage the lifecycle and accessibility of quality documentation including work instructions, procedures, and manuals. Supplier Quality / Material Review Board (MRB): Assist with the disposition of nonconforming materials and partner with suppliers for quality improvements. Metrics Reporting: Collect and analyze key quality metrics (DPPM, COPQ, FPY) to support management decision-making. Incoming Inspections: Conduct inspections on incoming materials, reporting any nonconformances. Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives to streamline QMS processes and reduce waste throughout manufacturing. External Audit Support: Serve as the primary contact during third-party registrar audits and customer quality assessments. Requirements: Proven experience conducting internal or lead audits in a regulated environment; ISO 9001 experience highly preferred. Proficiency in structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC). Strong analytical skills to interpret quality data and produce actionable reports. Deep understanding of QMS, document control, and international quality standards. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft procedures and present findings. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP/QMS software is a plus. Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred, but not required. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field preferred, or equivalent professional experience in Quality Assurance. 3+ years of experience in a QA role, with demonstrated competencies as described above.
