Quality Control Specialist The Quality Control Specialist ensures that all incoming materials and fabricated products meet strict quality standards through thorough inspections, documentation review, and adherence to established procedures. This role focuses on material receiving inspections, review of test reports, and performing or supporting non-destructive examination and weld inspections while maintaining accurate material traceability and quality records. Essential Skills 5+ years of quality control experience, preferably in a fabrication or manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience with material traceability processes. Strong understanding of Mill Test Reports and Daily Fabrication Reports. Ability to perform or support welding inspection activities. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and fabrication drawings. Experience with non-destructive examination (NDE) and weld inspection in a shop environment. Quality assurance and quality inspection experience, including receiving inspection. Strong computer skills, including use of management software and accurate computer data entry. Effective document control, record keeping, and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to identify and document nonconformances. Work Environment This role is based in an open-air, large fabrication shop that can be loud and fast-paced. You will work around heavy fabrication equipment and active production areas, requiring awareness of safety procedures at all times. Long sleeves are required as part of the shop attire, along with appropriate safety gear as needed. The position operates on a day shift schedule, typically from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed to support production demands. . . .
