Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the marketJob DescriptionWhat Impact You'll Make The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) - forged parts, is responsible for :- driving quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation- collaborating with Engineering and Sourcing to select and approve suppliers through approval and qualification processes- owning supplier assessments, part/process qualification supplier results- driving improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. - owning ongoing supplier audits, and supplier monitoring ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.The role will work in full alignment and close collaboration with internal stakeholders including sourcing, engineering, manufacturing and project management to enable project execution excellence.
