Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to join their team.

As a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer, you will be part of the Cloud Infrastructure Support team supporting development and operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Seattle, Washington (onsite 3-4 days/week)

Pay Range: $70-80/hour, based on experience

What's the Job?

  • Work directly with developers to unblock them when they encounter cloud, infrastructure, or deployment challenges on Azure
  • Help application teams deploy and operate containerized services in production AKS environments
  • Design, write, and maintain Terraform scripts to provision and deploy Azure infrastructure
  • Containerize applications by creating Dockerfiles and deployment artifacts
  • Build and deploy services that can run behind Azure load balancers, Application Gateways, and ingress controllers in production

What's Needed?

  • Extensive experience running production services on Azure, particularly with AKS
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Azure resource provisioning
  • Deep practical knowledge of Kubernetes internals: scheduling, networking, RBAC, resource management, and troubleshooting cluster issues
  • Practical knowledge of Docker and containerization
  • Experience deploying and operating containerized services behind load balancers and ingress controllers on Azure
