Quality Manager

Quality Manager Location: Proximity to Westbury, NY Company/Industry: Heat transfer solutions provider Schedule: Mon-Fri, 1st shift Salary: $75,000 - $100,000, depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate Type: Direct Hire with benefits Key Responsibilities Quality System Maintenance : Follow all company's quality assurance protocols, policies, and procedures. Audit compliance and continuous improvement initiatives for compliance to ISO 9001. Process Improvement : Utilizing data to identify improvements and drive Lean and/or Six Sigma initiatives, reduce cost of quality Quality Inspection : Monitoring product development and inspecting raw materials and final products, with authority to reject non-compliant items. Leadership: Supervising quality inspectors, including training and performance management. Audit & Compliance : Performing internal audits, ensuring adherence to legal, safety, and regulatory standards. Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for client quality issues. Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production on continuous improvement activities. Reporting : Maintaining proper metrics and records to analyze and mitigate non-conformances and reduce Cost of Quality for the company. Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, Manufacturing. 2-5 years proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or management, specifically in a manufacturing environment; Experience in ISO 9001, Root cause Analysis tools, SPC, FMEA, CAPA Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $75,000.00 - $100,000.00
