THE WORK
Sikorsky is seeking to hire a full time Reliability and Maintainability Engineer to support R&M activities for various Aircraft programs across the company.
In this role, you will:
- Perform R&M predictions and fleet data analysis, Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Trees Analysis (FTA), failure analysis, and corrective action (FRACAS).
- Develop, conduct, and coordinate R&M plans and procedures to include conducting technical studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts.
- Propose changes in design or formulation to improve R&M performance.
- Support of design reviews and test activities as required.
- Support proposal writing activities.

Experience with aviation (helicopter or fixed wing) or ground-based vehicle systems design,
integration and test. Also acceptable is experience in System Engineering, Attributes,
Safety/Specialty Engineering or Test Engineering.
Experience with Reliability Analysis, Statistics or Data Analytics/Data Engineering.- Degree in an engineering, statistics/applied math, or data science/engineering- focused discipline
- Experience performing R&M predictions, Failure analysis experience (FRACAS) and Failure
Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analyses (FMECA) or similar.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing and delivering presentations to peers as well as management
- Experience with PTC Windchill WQS or Reliasoft analysis tools a plus
- Experience with statistical concepts and analysis
- Engineering background with good electrical / mechanical understanding; practical hands on
experience with hardware test and troubleshooting
- Aviation maintenance (civil/military) or operations experience a plus
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance is desired, but not required.
