Our three divisions, Engineering and Test, Technical Services, and Mission Systems, make DTB a diverse and welcoming place to work and thrive.
With the growing demand for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance solutions that enable timely and informed decision-making, the Missions Systems Division integrates cutting-edge products and intelligent systems for military ISR aircraft and ground systems.
We provide mobile Mission Systems and Solutions with a full range of aircraft modification capabilities to support critical missions. DTB has the engineering expertise to understand system requirements for design, prototyping, production, and mission support needs, delivering solutions for mission-critical programs.
The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, must take a hands-on approach to their work, be flexible in their duties, and be a proven self-starter.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple inspection tasks and meet deadlines
Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished assemblies, weldments, and parts to verify conformance with supplied drawings
Utilize basic hand inspection tools to conduct inspections
Maintain accurate and organized inspection records
Work with the Quality team to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to address non-conformities.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and assist in implementing effective preventive measures.
Ensure compliance with AS9100D standards and actively contribute to maintaining and improving the quality management system (QMS).
Communicate effectively with production personnel, engineers, and project managers to address quality concerns and provide guidance on quality requirements.
Required Qualifications:
High's school diploma or equivalent
Min 2+ years of technical experience
Minimum of 3 years in a quality inspection role
Strong work ethic is a must
Technical degree (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or experience in a technical role is desired
Weld inspection experience is a strong plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data entry, analysis, and report generation
Ability to qualify for government clearance
Occasional travel may be required
