Job Description The Quality Mechanical Inspector is responsible for ensuring precision-machined components and assemblies meet all customer and internal quality standards. This role performs first article, in-process, and final inspections using both manual inspection tools and CMM equipment. The ideal candidate brings strong GD&T knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment. This position works closely with production and quality teams to support continuous improvement and defect reduction initiatives. Responsibilities Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on machined parts and assemblies Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and use precision measuring tools Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications Document inspection results accurately and support nonconformance investigations Collaborate with quality and production teams to improve first-pass yield and reduce defects Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 5+ years of inspection experience in a machining or precision manufacturing environment Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation Experience operating and programming CMM equipment Proficient with precision inspection tools and basic computer applications (Excel, Word) Pay/Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance options 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off and paid holidays Stable work environment with opportunities for growth and skill development #MPG1 Masis Staffing is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
