The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) provides on-site quality oversight and support of suppliers providing products or services for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Advanced Development Programs (ADP).
The SQE will be the primary Quality point of contact at the supplier to collaborate with ADP Supplier Quality Integration, Program Management, Engineering, and Global Supply Chain, in an effort to eliminate supplier quality disruptions to ADP Program(s).
The SQE will be responsible for engaging the supplier on quality related issues, supplier oversight, source inspection, technical evaluations, failure investigations, process improvements, first article inspections, etc.
This is a deployed position in the Hamilton, Washington area working at one or more Lockheed Martin supplier companies. Scope of work cannot be accomplished living outside of greater Hamilton, Washington area.
The selected candidate will be responsible for achieving total quality performance across multiple sites for strategic suppliers that produce major airframe and systems components.
Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.

Proficient in interpreting Engineering drawings/blueprints/models, First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, and Engineering Process Specifications
Background in inspection/verification methods for complex machined parts and assemblies and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Proficiency in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA)
Effective written and oral communication skill Experience with composites manufacturing
Working knowledge of determinant assembly & model based engineering
Working knowledge of quality science and tools (Cause Mapping, 5 why, PFMEA, Mistake Proofing, Gap Analysis, etc)
