AWS Certified Welding Inspector w/ Significant FCM Experience

HRV Conformance Verification Associates, Inc. supplies a highly integrated series of professional engineering and quality assurance/quality control services worldwide, spanning the steel, concrete, coatings, mechanical, and construction industries.

We are seeking an experienced AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform inspection during the fabrication of structural steel, with a strong focus on Fracture Critical Members (FCM) . This is a full-time opportunity.

• Valid AWS CWI certification (required)
• Demonstrated experience inspecting Fracture Critical Members (FCM) (required)
• Strong working knowledge and inspection experience with AWS D1.5 (Bridge Welding Code) (required)
• Experience performing weld inspection in accordance with AWS D1.1 (Structural Steel Code)
• MT and/or UT experience preferred
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and general computer systems for reporting
• Valid drivers license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
• PASSPORT REQUIRED

• Physical activity includes climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, and standing for sustained periods
• Exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently
• Visual acuity requirements include color vision, depth perception, and field of vision
