Quality Technician I (2nd Shift)
Location: Bridgeton, MO
Schedule: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Position Summary
The Quality Technician  is responsible for independently evaluating finished products and incoming ingredients through a variety of testing methods, including sensory, analytical, chemical, microbiological, and physical testing. This role requires a strong understanding of quality specifications, testing methods, and production processes, as well as the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve non-conformance issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily plant inspections, process monitoring, and internal audits
	 - Perform sensory evaluations and analytical, chemical, microbiological, and physical testing on finished goods and raw materials
	 - Maintain the Environmental Monitoring Program, including swab testing and reporting results
	 - Identify and investigate non-conforming materials and products; evaluate data and recommend solutions
	 - Assist with customer complaint investigations
	 - Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality testing and programs
	 - Perform equipment calibration and routine maintenance per established procedures
	 - Prepare and deliver reports to the Quality Supervisor and other stakeholders
	 - Provide additional support to the Quality Supervisor as needed
	
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certification in a science-related field preferred
	 - OR minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment or laboratory
	 - Strong ability to interpret and organize technical data for communication and analysis
	 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
	 - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
