Quality Technician I (2nd Shift)

Location: Bridgeton, MO

Schedule: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Position Summary

The Quality Technician  is responsible for independently evaluating finished products and incoming ingredients through a variety of testing methods, including sensory, analytical, chemical, microbiological, and physical testing. This role requires a strong understanding of quality specifications, testing methods, and production processes, as well as the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve non-conformance issues.

Key Responsibilities



    	

  • Participate in daily plant inspections, process monitoring, and internal audits

    	

  • Perform sensory evaluations and analytical, chemical, microbiological, and physical testing on finished goods and raw materials

    	

  • Maintain the Environmental Monitoring Program, including swab testing and reporting results

    	

  • Identify and investigate non-conforming materials and products; evaluate data and recommend solutions

    	

  • Assist with customer complaint investigations

    	

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality testing and programs

    	

  • Perform equipment calibration and routine maintenance per established procedures

    	

  • Prepare and deliver reports to the Quality Supervisor and other stakeholders

    	

  • Provide additional support to the Quality Supervisor as needed

Qualifications



    	

  • Associate degree or certification in a science-related field preferred

    	

  • OR minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment or laboratory

    	

  • Strong ability to interpret and organize technical data for communication and analysis

    	

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    	

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
