Essential Functions :
  • Works under the guidance of senior team members and management to perform duties related to software verification and testing of software and hardware applications as a small component.
  • Develops, maintains, and conducts internal testing procedures and reports. Documents and communicates test results.
  • Works on automation using various software scripting languages. Follows instruction established by senior/lead test engineers and/or management.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
  • Developing Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans based on software requirements and specifications.
  • Writing Test Cases: Design and document detailed test cases to verify the functionality and performance of software applications.
  • Executing Test Cases: Conduct tests according to the established test plans and report findings accurately.
  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that software changes or updates do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
  • Automating Tests: Develop and implement automated testing scripts using various tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and test coverage.
  • Identifying Defects: Detect, isolate, and report software defects or inconsistencies, providing clear steps for reproduction.
  • Collaborating with Developers: Work closely with software developers to understand the codebase, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of defects.
  • Analyzing Test Results: Analyze test results and provide feedback to stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and quality assurance teams.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and any issues encountered during testing for future reference and audit purposes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools to optimize quality assurance activities.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing objectives, priorities, and outcomes.
  • Adhering to Standards: Adhere to established quality standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to software testing and quality assurance.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field, or a minimum of two (2) years of related experience in lieu of bachelors degree.
  • Knowledge of dental software and dental production workflow highly preferred.
  • Previous experience using any scripting language such as JavaScript, JQuery, or Python preferred.

Pay range: $30.00 to $35.00/hr
