Quality/ Reliability Engineer - Body Exterior

Join our dynamic team as a Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) Engineer within our North American Engineering organization. As a PVT Engineer, you will be co-located in the Vehicle Assembly Plant, working closely with the vehicle production team. You will be the 'first line of defense' for ensuring functional system quality for the products produced at the assembly plant. Your role will involve analyzing and resolving quality issues related to components and processes, focusing primarily on Body Exterior Trim, Decals, Bumpers, Latches, and Sealing.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Development, Quality, Program, or Manufacturing.
• Ability to conduct root cause analyses and develop corrective actions.
• Experience working directly in the automotive industry, preferably with ***.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

• Master's Degree in a related field.
• Experience as a Design Release Engineer with proficiency in using WERS release tool.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

• Conduct daily reviews of incoming warranty claims data and categorize them accurately.
• Engage with dealerships for parts and repair diagnoses.
• Participate in customer call-backs to ensure proper understanding of feedback.
• Review returned parts for root cause analysis and develop interim containment and permanent corrective actions.
