Location : Gulf Breeze, FL- Onsite

Duration : 6 months with possible extensions

Pay : $20-$23/hr. (depending on experience) 

Shift : 9-80 Schedule. 1 st shift.

Job Description:



    	

  • We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our clients team and contribute to our product quality assurance process.

    	

  • The Test Technician will be responsible for conducting tests, inspections, and troubleshooting activities on our products or systems to ensure they meet the required quality standards.

    	

  • This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

    	

  • This position will support circuit board testing and troubleshooting.

    	

  • A min of 5 years’ experience is preferred with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot down to component level.

    	

  • Certifications for soldering to IPC-610 Class 3/J-STD preferred, at minimum will need to be capable of obtaining certification thru the client. 

Responsibilities:



    	

  • Perform various tests and inspections on products, equipment, or systems according to established test procedures and standards.

    	

  • Set up and calibrate test equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of measurements.

    	

  • Record test data, observations, and results accurately and promptly.

    	

  • Identify and document any defects, malfunctions, or deviations from specifications.

    	

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

    	

  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to analyze test results and make necessary adjustments or improvements.

    	

  • Maintain and update test equipment, tools, and fixtures as needed.

    	

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

    	

  • Participate in the development and improvement of test procedures and processes.

    	

  • Adhere to quality control standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:



    	

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred.

    	

  • Proven experience as a Test Technician or in a similar role.

    	

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of testing methodologies and procedures.

    	

  • Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other relevant tools.

    	

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications

    	

  • Proficient in using computer software for data recording and analysis.

    	

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

    	

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    	

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

    	

  • Understanding of quality control principles and practices.

    	

  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
